An Abdominal Ultrasonogram is a non-invasive imaging test that uses sound waves to create images of the organs inside the abdomen. It helps detect abnormalities, monitor organ health, and guide diagnosis.

What it shows:

• Liver: Size, structure, and presence of lesions or fatty changes

• Gallbladder: Stones, inflammation, or other abnormalities

• Pancreas: Size, masses, or cysts

• Kidneys: Stones, cysts, or structural changes

• Spleen: Enlargement or lesions

• Abdominal Aorta: Check for aneurysms or abnormalities

• Bladder: Wall thickness, stones, or abnormalities
