Md. Jahir Mamun (Marine Engineer), born in 1986 in Pirojpur, is a graduate of Barishal Cadet College and Bangladesh Marine Academy. He joined Maersk Tankers in 2007 and continues to serve with distinction. Beyond his professional career, he is actively involved in social initiatives, including establishing a local library and supporting community development. Despite living abroad, his strong connection to his roots inspired him to found Sheba Lagbe—a service-driven initiative dedicated to making essential healthcare and support services accessible at home.
