A Lower Abdomen Ultrasonogram is a non-invasive imaging test that uses sound waves to examine organs in the lower abdominal region. It helps detect abnormalities, monitor organ health, and guide diagnosis.

What it shows:

• Bladder: Wall thickness, stones, or abnormalities

• Uterus (in females): Size, shape, fibroids, or other growths

• Ovaries (in females): Cysts, masses, or structural issues

• Prostate (in males): Size, enlargement, or abnormalities

• Appendix: Signs of inflammation or other issues

• Other Lower Abdominal Organs: Detect fluid collection, masses, or other abnormalities
